NOISE LEGISLATION
In 2009, we were asked by then-mayor Joseph Loeffler to research noise laws and provide recommendations. We researched what was being done in New York City, as well as Fire Island's own Saltaire and other towns to see how similar communities were legislating noise ordinances. VOBEC's written recommendations were incorporated into the Village Code in March of 2010.
